Tentative Program Schedule

StarSkate Group (Junior Development) will be divided into two 10 week programs.  One session before Christmas and one session after Christmas.

STARSkate Group or Junior Development is a 10 week program that offers an introductory step for young skaters into figure skating. Skaters will learn basic figure skating skills in a small group setting (60 minutes per week).

You do not need to invest in special clothing. Good choices are warm clothing that the skater can move in that is not baggy and that does not drag on the ice. Proper fitting skates are essential. If you are unsure about skates, the coach can make suggestions, or you may look for advice at United Cycle or Professional Skate Service in Edmonton.
